Abstract
The various reconstructive procedures are developed for eyebrow defect. In a few instances where the destruction of tissue around the eyebrow has been very gross, repair of the deformity must not only take into accent the eyebrow itself but also the adjacent forehead. Of the procedures such as scalp-based forehead flap, non-scalp-based forehead flap, Washio flap, none can solve the problem of reconstrution of the eyebrow and the adjacent forehead in one stage with well adjusted eyebrow hair orientation. We use posterior auricular free flap including scalp skin to replace the missing area of forehead and the eyebrow. It provides good color match and texture with inconspicuous donor site in onestage. This paper presents a new free flap technique suitable for reconstrution of the eyebrow and the adjacent forehead.
